OBITUARY Frederick T. Crane, who has been city engineer of Orange, N. J., for 25 years, died recently at his home in Orange, at the age of 65. Allen E. Nichols, consulting engineer, recently died in Chicago, Ill., at the early age of 31 years. He had been engaged in sanitary engineering and was employed during the war as assistant engineer of construction, by the du Pouts, on the 70,000,000 gallon filtration plant for the new powder plant at Old Hickory, Tenn.
