Mills Destroyed in Sheridan, Wyo. Spontaneous combustion was the cause assigned for the fire which recently destroyed the flour mills of the Denio Milling Company in Sheridan, Wyo. The property consisted of a mill and elavtors, 100 x 160 feet and warehouses 75 x 100 feet, of brick and wood construction, situated in the warehouse district on a 50-foot street. The mill was three stories high and the fire started in the top story about 11 :30 p. m. The top of the mill was a mass of flames when the department, under command of Chief M. J. Troyer, arrived, and according to the testimony of the chief, the men were hampered from the beginning by the lack of adequate pressure water from the gravity system. The eight men engaged used one Seagrave chemical combination and one Reo hose truck and laid 2,000 feet of cotton rubber-lined hose, throwing streams…
