Sewerage Notes The town of Inwood, Ia., has declared itself in favor of a sewer system and it is expected that it will be installed before winter. The new sewer system approved by the people of Grand Island, Neb., when they voted some time ago in favor of the $200,000 sewer bond issue, may be laid during the coming winter, if plans now being discussed are acted upon. Consulting Engineer Donnelly, of Kansas City, advocates it, on the ground that contracts will be willing to make lower bids in that season, in order to get a winter job. Work will soon be started on the $750,000 intercepting sewer for Toledo, Ohio. It was estimated originally that $500,000 would cover the cost, but increased prices for labor and material will add fully 50 per cent to this figure, it is believed by City Engineer McClure.
