OBITUARY F. M. Shepherd, Jr. Frederick M. Shepherd. Jr., president of the Goodyear Rubber Company, died on September 17 at his home, 60 North Munn Avenue, East Orange, N. J., at the age of sixty-one years. He was also president of several subsidiary companies of the Goodyear company, including the Rubber Clothing Company of New York, which he organized: the Union India Rubber Company of New York, and the Lambertville Rubber Company of New Jersey The Goodyear Rubber Company was formed by Mr. Shepherd’s father in 1858. President of the Orange Water Company and of the East Orange Safe Deposit and Trust Company, Mr. Shepherd always took a deep interest in the civic affairs of the place. He was also interested in charitable works in the Oranges, but never announced his gifts. He was a member of Christ Episcopal Church and of the Aldine Club of New York. Surviving are…
