Boston Fire Officers Vote to Drop the International The Officers’ Club of the Boston, Mass., fire department, has announced its decision to relinquish its charter in the International Association of Fire Fighters, which is affiliated with the American Federation of Labor. The vote was unanimous and will be presented for ratification to the members of the entire department at the annual election. It is regarded as certain that the action will be approved by the department, which was almost to a man opposed to the recent policeman’s strike in that city. The firemen at that time refused to enter into a “sympathetic strike,” which was urged upon them by the police, it was said.
