Georgetown, Ky., to Have Municipal Plant The city council of Georgetown, Ky., at a recent .special meeting voted unanimously not to sell a franchise for water supply, but to acquire a municipal system either by purchase of the plant of the Georgetown company or to build an independent plant. The franchise of the present company expires May 1, 1921, and the city has already voted a bond issue of $100,000 to acquire or construct a municipal system, so that the money is available whenever desired. If a fair price is set upon the existing plant it will be purchased, but otherwise the city will proceed to build. The following contract has been made with W. H.
