February Meeting of the New York Section Lively and Interesting Discussion on the Subject of Prevention and Control of Water Waste—Election of President for Ensuing Year—Mr. Diven on Hill Trophy Special Report to FIRE AND WATER ENGINEERING. THE New York Section of the American Water Works Association held its February meeting on Wednesday, February 18, in the Colonial Room on the third floor of the Hotel McAlpin, 34th Street and Broadway, New York City. Luncheon was served at one o’clock and was followed by the meeting with Morris R. Sherrerd, president, in the chair. Mr. Sherrerd first announced that this was the meeting at which the section must choose a new chairman, and he would appoint a committee of three consisting of Allan W. Cuddeback, chairman; H. H.
