OBITUARY John H. Norris, late chief engineer of the National Meter Company, died very suddenly at his residence, on June 21, 1920. Mr. Norris had been in the employ of the National Meter Company for over thirty years, and was generally recognized as a man of exceptional ability in the water meter field. During his long career he came in contact with water works officials from all parts of the country, and his skill and patience in handling many intricate problems, were always greatly appreciated. For many years Mr. Norris was an active member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, and was deeply interested in the many subjects which came before that body. Mr. Norris was an extremely modest, quiet and dignified man, who always had a kind word for all his associates. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Training the Future Citizen By way…
