Memorial to Chief Ross of New Rochelle A bronze tablet was recently unveiled at Fire Headquarters, New Rochelle, N. Y., in memory of the late chief, James Ross, who died in August, 1919. The tablet bears a mezzo relief portrait of his head and was given by the volunteer department in testimony of their respect and affection. The presentation address was delivered by Justice J. Addison Young of New Rochelle and the speech of acceptance by Mayor Scott.
