Cleveland Fire News During the absence of Chief George A. Wallace of Cleveland First Assistant Chief James E. Granger was in charge of the department. Contracts have been let for five new pumping units and three new motor wagons, which will complete the motorizing of the department. It is announced by First Assistant Chief Granger that two new fire stations are to be built. One will be located in the southeast part of the city and the other is to take care of the stockyards district in the southwestern part. Each will have an engine and truck company. The fire apparatus of Fargo, N. D., is now fully motorized, the last horses having been disposed of very recently. A repair and work shop is being made by repairing an old barn.
