Discussion at Conventions The papers recently published in the columns of FIRE AND WATER ENGINEERING, as having been read at various water works conventions and meetings, accompanied, as many of them have been, with digests of the discussions indulged in by members of these associations after the reading of the papers, again emphasizes the important place these meetings hold in the life and work of the water works superintendent, and the necessity of his membership in these organizations. One of the most important and necessary features in connection with these annual and periodic gatherings is the discussions which are brought out by the subjects treated by authors of papers.
