New England-Association’s November Meeting Former Secretary Willard Kent Presented with Testimonial of Appreciation for His Long Service—Important Papers Read—Dues Raised—Good Attendance (Special report to FIRE AND WATER ENGINEERING) MORE than a hundred members were present at the November meeting of the New England Water Works’ Association held in the Copley Square Hotel, Boston, Mass., on Wednesday, November 10. The executive committee met in the morning at the headquarters in the Tremont Temple building, and luncheon was served at 1 o’clock at the hotel. Presentation to ex-Secretary Kent A pleasing feature of the afternoon session was the presentation of a handsome Chelsea Ship’s Bell Mantle Clock and a small chest containing $500 in $20 gold pieces to Willard Kent, who was the secretary of the New England Water Works’ Association for twenty years, from 1899 to 1919.
