OBITUARY Captain Robert W. Norris of Hose Company 29, Seattle fire department, died Monday morning, March 28, of pneumonia. He was born in Kansas City fifty years ago; joined this department June 6, 1898, and leaves a widow and a daughter. Few of the older officers were better known and his record as a fireman was entirely clear. The funeral was Thursday afternoon and the Elks conducted the services. David Bromm, who was a former chief of the fire department of Sandusky, Ohio, died on March 29, at his home in that city. Mr. Bromm had been an invalid and unable to walk as the result of being struck by an automobile several years ago and had been confined to his home since that time. The immediate cause of his death was a heart attack. He was fifty-seven years of age and leaves a widow, two sons and five grandchildren.
