Fire News from Georgia Three times in the last ten days the long bridge over the Withlacoochee River on the Valdosta, Moultrie & Western R. R. in Lowndes County, Georgia, has been set on fire. President C. L. Jones, receiver for the road, declares that in each instance there has been evidence that it was the work of incendiary. In fact he says that he has been told that certain parties have made the open statement that the V., M. & W. would never be taken up and junked, or the bridge moved. The road was recently advertised and sold to the highest bidder in the U. S. court at Valdosta. The court has not yet approved the sale of the road.
