WATER WORKS NEWS The city of Cedar Grove, Iowa, is planning to introduce a water works system, including three wells, pumping equipment and distribution system, which will cost probablv about $150,000. The members of the Watuppa Water Board of Fall River, Mass., recently made a trip of inspection of the city to determine how extensively and in what new localities water mains should be laid this year. The water department of Miles City, Mont., recently awarded the contract for the laying of twenty-five miles of mains to more remote portions of the city, the amount of the contract being $100,000. At a primary election held recently in Fort Wayne, Ind., the vote on the question as to whether the city should create and maintain the Rockwell water system resulted in 6,405 votes in favor and 1,182 against.
