A. W. W. A. Proceedings With this issue we commence the publication in detail of the proceedings of the forty-first annual convention of the American Water Works Association, which occurred at Cleveland, Ohio, on June 6 to 9, 1921. These proceedings will run through the following issues until completed and will include excerpts from papers read before the convention at its various sessions and digests of the discussions on them, which at this year’s gathering were particularly exhaustive, complete and interesting. In this issue is reproduced part of the proceedings of the meeting held on Monday afternoon of the Standardization Council, a new and most important departure by the association and one which promises to increase the usefulness of the organization manyfold by co-ordinating and systematizing the work of standardization in the various activities of water supply.
