Texas Fire News Block 10, known as the National Theatre block, in brock enridge, Texas, which was destroyed by fire on February 24 of this year, has been completely rebuilt with all strictly fireproof buildings. An ordinance permitting the burning of paper and other waste matter has been passed by the board of commissioners of Dallas, Texas, to lessen the cost of garbage removal as well as the fire hazard. Waste matter may not be burned nearer than 100 feet to any building, and must be watched while burning, according to the ordinance. The fire marshal, the chief of the fire department or the building inspector must approve the receptacle in which the refuse is burned
