WATER WORKS NEWS Owing to a shortage of water in North Adams, Mass., it is proposed to construct a larger storage basin. Fhe feasibility of adopting the driven well water supply for Rahway, N. J., is being considered by the city. A contract for laying water mains in three different streets in Red Bank, N. J., amounting to $4,368.75, was awarded on June 20 by the city council. Severe fires in Millsboro, Del., recently caused the calling of a special election to vote On bonding the town for $25,000 for the erection of a water works. Fessenden, N. Dak., has awarded a contract for furnishing and erecting an eighty-foot steel tower and 40.000gallon water tank at a cost of $6,700.
