Cleveland Fire Notes A White 45 horse power roadster has been assigned to Second Assistant Chief Nimmo. A new house is now in the process of construction in the extreme southeastern section of the city. This will quarter both an engine and hook and ladder company. Fireboat George A. Wallace (Engine No. 15) will soon occupy its new quarters on the west side of the Cuyahoga River. These new quarters are modern in every particular, having the appearance of bungalows. Chief James Richards of the Fifth Battalion has started a new idea in order to make the men of the engine crews snappy in coupling up lines of host. Three sections of hose are laid out to a hydrant, all couplings disconnected at a given word, all hands start to make a quick coupling including hydrant and play pipe.
