FIRE DEPARTMENT ACTIVITIES NOTE;—Special Fire Business News, with Proposals, etc., will be found on page 407.—EDITOR. The Kutztown, Pa., council has appropriated $300 for new fire alarm. Chief Mack, of the Lima, Ohio, fire department is to have a new car. Morris Plains, N. J., is to add a fire-alarm siren to its equipment. North Bergen, N. J., if plans materialize, is to have a new fire-alarm system soon. The Egg Harbor, N. J., fire department is to hold a carnival to raise funds for a new fire apparatus. Palmer, Mass., is to have a new auxiliary water supply for fire protection. The system has not yet been perfected, but it is expected that it will be within a few weeks. The Paris, France, branch of the Ford Motor Company, at Issy-les-Moulineaux, a suburb of Paris, was practically destroyed by fire on August 13, with over one hundred automobiles. Fire…
