Water Works Standardization In the last issue of FIRE AND WATER ENGINEERING were published specifications for standardization of the disk type water meter as finally adopted by the American and New England Water Works Associations and the Meter Manufacturers’ Association. In this issue we are glad to add one more chapter to the history of the important work on standardization that is going forward in water works matters. This constitutes the joint report of the committees of the American and New England Associations and the National Association of Brass Manufacturers, containing the proposed specifications for standardizing the manufacture of corporation cocks, curb cocks, couplings and other brass goods used in water works practice.
