J., water plant was placed at $192,354.83. The city council of North Platte, Neb., has let a contract for water extension work, which is to start at once and to be completed in ninety days. A contract for a 12-inch water main to connect Westview with Marietta, Ohio, has been let and it is expected the work will be finished before cold weather sets in.
