The Bethlehem, Pa., city council has purchased two dozen gas masks for the fire department. The fire department of Lodi, Cal., will soon have a Seagrave 750-gallon triple combination pumper. An American-LaFrance combination chemical and hose car has been delivered to the city of Corvallis, Ore. The Seagrave Company recently shipped a fircboat pumping unit to Honolulu for installation in a fireboat of that city. It is said that millions of feet of valuable lumber are destroyed annual in Mexico, because of the lack of fire-fighting organization. The city of Detroit, Mich., for its fire department recently ordered five Seagrave 750-gallon pumpers and two Seagrave 75-foot aerial trucks. Fire on October 30 destroyed the auditorium of the Kabukiz Theatre, one the largest and oldest in Tokio, Japan. The loss is estimated at $1,500,000. An…
