New Pumper for Nevada, Iowa The fire department of Nevada, Iowa, recently acquired a new Stoughton-Pirsch triple combination pumper equipped with a 300-gallon rotary pump, 40-gallon chemical tank, 1,200foot hose body and the usual equipment carried on apparatus of this kind. The pumper has been tested and placed in service. The village of Firth, Neb., has organized a volunteer fire department, the following officers being elected: President, H. E. Ward; vice-president, J. E. Harms; secretary, W. A. Jewell; treasurer, M. H. Garrison; chief, Clarence Young.
