Danish Exposition Wants Fire Equipment From September 16 to October 1 a firefighting exhibition will be held in Copenhagen, Denmark. The exhibition should also interest American manufacturers in that line because there is a growing market in Denmark for fireproof materials, fire alarm apparatus and firefighting appliances. A revision of the Danish fire laws and regulations is under way and the result will undoubtedly be that the firefighting apparatus will be modernized all over the country and that the small towns, the villages and a great many of the larger estates and farms will have to purchase new and efficient appliances. The idea is that every large farm and small village should he able to hold a fire in check until help can be had from the nearest town and that every town should be supplied with at least one motor fire engine.
