Many Cities to Send Chiefs to Frisco The unusual number of cities which have passed ordinances or otherwise made provision for sending their fire chiefs to the San Francisco Jubilee Convention of the International Association of Fire Engineers is a very striking evidence of how the principle which FIRE AND WATER ENGINEERING has been advocating for so long—namely that the chief is on the municipality’s business while attending the convention—has become at last the practice which is being more generally followed. There is every reason why this year should find practically every fire chief in attendance at the San Francisco convention at the expense of his municipality.
