Ky., water works to succeed William Seibert, whose resignation was asked for by the commissioners to take effect July 1. An announcement has been made by the officials of Council Bluffs, Iowa, water board that they have acquired early in -August thirteen lots adjacent to the North 37th Street pumping station front the Home Terrace Company of Omaha, Net). In exchange the board has agreed to lay mains in the new Mid-City addition plotted by the same company in that district. George L. Satterlee, civil engineer of the department of water supply, gas and electricity of New York City, located at the Gravesend pumping station, died suddenly on August 21, it is thought, of heart disease on a trolly car in Brooklyn.
