What Foreign Chiefs Say of Our Methods Continuation of Excerpts from Proceedings of International Association of Fire Engineers’ Convention at San Francisco —Chiefs from Far Away Comment on American Brothers ONE of the most striking features of the fiftieth annual (Golden Jubilee) convention of the International Association of Fire Engineers, which was held in San Francisco on Augtist 15 to 18, were the addresses by the foreign chiefs of fire departments, some of whom had journeyed many hundreds of miles to attend this gathering. The chief of Panama brought a resolution from his government making Chief Murphy an honorary commander of the fire department.
