Fire Prevention Week in Ohio According to State Fire Marshal H. A. Dykeman of Ohio. “Fire Prevention Week in Ohio will go down in the history of this department as the greatest concerted drive against the Red Peril attempted since the fire marshal’s office was created. We reached more people, got better, lasting results and came to a better understanding with our citizenship on preventing fires than we had even expected. The concentrated, continuous drive brings home the bacon! What we hope, is, that the week set aside for the drive will stretch into a full year. Before going into detail, we wish to place the following co-operations on the honor roll; Governor Davis, the newspapers, the clergy, the mayors, the fire chiefs, the chambers of commerce, the women’s clubs and organizations, the men’s clubs, the boy scouts, the parent-teachers associations, the school officials and teachers, the Ohio grange, and…
