Massachusetts Fire Chiefs’ Club Meets The December meeting of the Massachusetts Fire Chiefs Club was held on December 20, 1922, at the Parker House, Boston, Mass. The meeting convened at 12:30 P. M. Ira G. Hoagland, fire prevention engineer of New York City, addressed the club on the subject of automatic sprinklers, dwelling especially on the dry pipe systems and illustrating his talk with lantern slides. A discussion as to the best methods of cutting off electricity from a building on fire, was held by the chiefs present. The next meeting of the club will be held in January. James M. Casey is president of the club and A. Howard Fiskc is secretary. It includes fire chiefs from every state in New England. The club meets the third Wednesday of each month.
