Charging the Out-of-Town Automobilist for Fire Fighting To the Editor: During the past year or so, fire department has had quite a few automobile fires, most all of which have been late at night, and the question of cost has come up. In practically all of the cases so far the owners were insured, but all have been out-of-town people, and no reimbursement has been made for the cost of chemicals and expense incurred by the department in attending these automobile fires.
