This Subject and Use of Cement in Laying Mains Treated at Annual Meeting of Association—Election of Officers and Adoption of New Constitution—Those Present at Meeting THE annual meeting of the New England Water Works Association was held at the Boston City Club, corner of Somerset Street and Ashburton Place, Boston, Mass., on the afternoon of Tuesday, January 9. The principal business was the adoption of a revised constitution, reading of reports of officers for the past year, election of officers following the mail ballot, reports of two special committees, and the reading of two interesting and practical papers on the subject of pipe joints. Four new members were elected to the association. The attendance at the meeting was 109 persons, according to the figures kept by Secretary Frank J. Gifford.
