The city of Norfolk, Va., sold on March 28, $3,029,000 worth of bonds for water works and other municipal improvements. These sold at $101,925. A special election will he held sometime in April at Winfield, Kan., to vote on a bond issue of $112,000 to provide a more adequate water supply for the city. A special election will be held at Lathrop, Mo., March 20, to vote on a bond issue of $60,000 for a system of water works, and $22,000 for main sewers and disposal plant.
