MANAGER DAVIS TAKES HOLD AND IS INTRODUCED AT DINNER New General Manager of Indianapolis Water Company and President Geist Tell of Proposed Improvements and Ask Co-operation of People CARLETON E. DAVIS, formerly chief of the water bureau of Philadelphia, was formally introduced to the business and other prominent men of Indianapolis, Ind., at a dinner given by the Indianapolis Water Company, on June 2 as its new general manager. The Claypool Hotel was the scene of the gathering of some 450 representatives of business, civic and labor interests, gathered for the occasion. After being introduced to the company by Clarence H. Geist, president of the company, Mr. Davis said: “I feel honored, and am proud to be chosen by Mr. Geist to represent him in the management of that one of his companies which is closest to his heart, the Indianapolis Water Company.
