Fire Department Growth in Middletown, N. J. The fire department of Middletown Township, N. J. has been rapidly growing since last September, several new fire companies having been organized in the villages. Four new pieces of fire apparatus have been ordered or purchased. The Community Fire Company at Ocean View, organized last September, purchased a Childs chemical and hose car. Several months later, the Rrevent Park and Leonardo Fire Company bought a new Stutz triple combination pumper. In February, East Keansburg organized a new fire company and purchased a Childs chemical and hose car and has just opened a new fire house. At about the same time Port Monmouth organized a new fire company and placed an order for a new American-LaFrance chemical and hose car.
