Dobbs Ferry, N. Y., Celebrates Anniversary The fire department of Dobbs Ferry, N. Y., assisted in the celebration of the fiftieth anniversary of that village’s incorporation on July 4, by a very creditable turn-out and by taking part in the athletic contests. Other neighboring fire departments also assisted in the festivities. The morning was taken up by a parade in which the Dobbs Ferry fire department, with Chief Joseph P. Biegen in command, turned out practically its entire force with two of its three apparatus, that of Ogden Company No. 1 having unfortunately been disabled in a collision a few days before. Visiting departments were Irvington, with an AmericanLaFrance combination car; Hastings with three new Mack cars; Ardsley with a motor hose car and the Uniontown Hose Company.
