A New Portable Fire Pump for Ford Cars A new portable pumping outfit, suitable for attachment to Ford cars has just been placed on the market, designed largely to meet the fire protection requirements of small towns and villages. The pump is of simple construction and designed so that it can be installed on a Ford car by any garage mechanic in a few hours without having to drill holes in the car’s frame or mutilating the car in any way. Once it is applied, the pump can then be attached and detached in one or two minutes, or can be left on the car in making short drives. The power required to drive this pump is so little that it does not overtax the Ford motor.
