The New England Convention The forty-second annual convention of the New England Water Works Association is a thing of the past. With it will be associated only pleasant memories, both as regards the convention itself and also the beautiful Vermont town which helped to make it the success it was and whose people went out of their way to make the stay of the visitors pleasant. From the mayor and president of the chamber of commerce down to the humblest of the hotel clerks, all seemed to consider it a duty and a pleasure to make the association and its guests welcome. While the exhibit and meeting halls were possibly not as well suited to their purposes as might be, they were undoubtedly the best that could be arranged for by the association under the circumstances and with the size of the hotel.
