How Motor Apparatus Has Cut Fire Losses To the Editor: We are anxious to secure, if possible, some statistics showing how motorization of a fire department has assisted in holding down fire losses. We imagine that in the old days of the horsedrawn engine, there were a great many more fires that gained headway and caused serious damage, which has now been prevented by the early arrival of the motor-drawn engine.
