New Fire Station for Bridgeport In its budget for 1924 the Bridgeport, Conn., fire department is requesting the sum of $65,000 from the board of apportionment and taxation to erect a new fire station to replace the old No. 2 house on Crescent Place. This building has been 75 years in use and the fire commission feels that a new and more modern one is needed in its place.
