Illinois Firemen Meet The thirty-sixth annual convention of the Illinois Firemen’s Association took place at Aurora, Ill., on January 8 to 10. The convention was called to order by President A. W. Thode of Galena, Ill., at 10:45 A. M. on January 8. The address of welcome was by Mayor Chas. H. Greene and the response was by President Thode. The memorial services were held at the First M. E. Church on the evening of January 8. The invocation by Rev. Chas. J. Bready. There were several addresses and the role call of the deceased members was read by Secretary Roy W. Alsip. The convention was signalized by the reading of several important papers among which were the “Use of 3-Inch Hose,” Chas. H.
