Indianapolis Pumper Makes Quick Run A fifty-mile run in an hour over roads which were extremely slippery at 5:30 in the morning was the experience of Pumper Company No. 15 of the Indianapolis, Ind., fire department with its Stutz pumper, under command of Captain Maurice Healy. when assistance was called for by Rushville in fighting a fire in the three-story building of the I. O. O. F. Assistant Chief Blackwell ordered the company to make the run after the call for aid. A member of the Indianapolis department had his knee badly hurt when a floor caved in.
