N. Y. State Permanent Firemen’s Ass’n to Meet The 1924 convention of the New York State Permanent Firemen’s Association, it has been decided, is to be held at Watertown, N. Y., on September 9 to 11. Plans were formulated at a meeting of the officers and committees of the association at Watertown on March 6. It is expected that the bulk of the funds to defray the expenses of the convention and to entertain the 500 or more visitors expected will be raised by publishing a souvenir program book. The association has a membership of more than 2,000. and it is expected that some 56 cities and many villages will be represented at the convention. Members of full or part-paid fire departments of cities and villages are eligible to membership. The officers of the association are: Harry F. Schleiger, Albany. president; Fred F. Anderson.
