Fire Apparatus at Boston Auto Show There was an interesting display of motor fire apparatus at the Boston Automobile Show in Mechanics’ Building. The American-LaFrance Fire Engine Company, of Elmira, N. Y., showed a triple combination 750-gallon motor pumping car equipped with pneumatic tires. This engine has been sold to the Rumford, Me., fire department. A. H. Kohnen was in charge of the exhibition. The International Motor Company showed a handsome Mack triple combination car, the fine points of which were explained by W. A. Maynard. The FoamiteChilds Corporation displayed the Indian Fire Patrol, a motor cycle with sidecar equipped with hose, chemical extinguishers, axe, etc. B. W. Dezotel was in charge of the exhibit which included a number of Foamite extinguishers and the Fire-Gun for automobile fires. The Maxim Motor Company, of Middleboro, Mass., had an extensive display including a six-cylinder city service hook and ladder truck. 750-gallon triple…
