Churchtown Fire Company Buys Chemical Car The Conestoga Valley Fire Company of Churchtown, Pa., recently received a new Buffalo-Reo straight chemical car. The apparatus is equipped with three 85-gallon chemical tanks. It is also equipped with chemical hose reels, ladders and minor equipment which goes with such apparatus. It has successfully passed all tests and has been accepted by the company and placed in service. Testing New Pump at Bay City Water Works—The new Worthington Pump recently installed at the Bay City, Mich., water works is being given a thorough test under the supervision of engineers. During the test a pressure of between 60 and 80 pounds is being maintained at an average rate of consumption of about 10,000,000 gallons per day. Green Bay Water Plant Shows Profit—The Green Bay, Wis., water department, which is municipally owned and operated, earned a net profit of $28,095.88 last year. The credit balance…
