Arizona Firemen to Meet in May The Arizona State Firemen’s Association, of which Chief J. J. Murphy, of Warren, Ariz., is president and Chief W. J. Nemeck, of Douglas, Ariz., is secretary, is to hold its first annual convention at Tucson, Ariz., on May 1-3. The following topics have been assigned and will be discussed at the convention: School Fire Drills, Use and Advantage of 1 1/2-inch Hose, Handling Controlling Nozzles, Care of Fire Hose, Dangers of House Circuits to Firemen and Standardization of Hose Threads. The program of the convention is as follows: Thursday, May 1, 9:00 A. M. to 12 M. Registration at Central Fire Station. Afternoon, 1:30 Convention called to order. Invocation by Rev. E. C. Tuthill.
