Indiana Fire Protection Association Revived A meeting called by Frank C. Jordan, secretary of the Indianapolis Water Company, and vice-president of the American Water Works Association, convened at Indianapolis. Ind., on April 11, at which the Indiana Fire Protection Association, an organization which has been practically extinct for several years, was completely reorganized under fire department and water works auspices. Jacob E. Riedel, chief of the Fire Prevention Bureau of Indiana, was named chairman, with the following vice-chairmen: Dow R. Gwinn, president. Terre Haute Water Works Company, Terre Haute; Eli F. Seebirt, mayor of South Bend; W. L. Younce, superintendent water department. Newcastle; John Stalbut. chief of the Fort Wayne fire department; W. J. Curran, superintendent of the Indianapolis salvage corps, and S. C. Carter, chief of the Evansville fire department.
