Los Angeles to Vote on $8,000,000 Bond Issue The Los Angeles voters will be asked to pass upon a proposed bond issue of $8,000,000 at the primaries. In referring to the plans which this bond issue will cover, if passed, Chief Engineer Multiplan said that all of the procreeds from the issue, with the exception of $500,000, will be used for the development of the city’s present acqueduct supply system and the extension of the distribution system within the city. The $500,000 referred to is required to cover the cost of making preliminary surveys and studies in connection with the proposed Colorado River acqueduct. Approximately $3,000,000 will be used for the extension and improvement of the distribution system in every section of the city.
