The Combination Deluge Water Tower and Turret Wagon at Pittsburgh To the Editor: In the issue of June 4, 1924, of your paper there appeared an article dealing with two large fires that occurred in Pittsburgh, at practically the same time. On page 1236 mention was made of a “combination deluge water tower and turret wagon.” Will you kindly give us a more detailed description of this type of apparatus and a few pictures showing the position of the telescopic water tower as it appears when in action at a fire and how it “telescopes” when not in action.
