Southern Idaho Firemen Meet The Southern Idaho Firemen’s and Police Society, according to information received from Secretary-Treasurer H. G. Solomon of Gooding, Idaho, met on August 10, at Clear Lakes, Idaho. There were seventy members with their wives present, and besides the business meeting the members and their guests were entertained with boat-riding, fish ing and a picnic. The next meeting will be held at Rupert, Idaho, on Oct. 12. Captain Gorman, Sacramento, Retires After 30 Years— Captain James Gorman of Truck Company No. 2 at Sacramento, Cal., has been placed on the retired list by the city after more than thirty continuous years of service in the fire department. Captain Gorman has fought every fire of consequence that occurred in Sacramento during his term of service. His pension amounting to half of his regular salary, will be $85 per month.
